7-4-08 Happy Independence Day
What's up everyone! We all just got back from the beach! In Kailua, they shoot off fireworks from one of the small islands off the coast. People from the entire windward side of the island collect on Kailua Beach to see these fireworks be shot off and light up the ocean beneath. It was amazing! Definitely not the best fireworks show I've ever seen, but by FAR the coolest environment I've ever watched fireworks. Everyone here is extremely into the holiday and is super patriotic! It's getting later and later here and people are just getting more into their fireworks (and beers). It was tons of fun watching the parade this morning too. We parked at Uncle Don's house and walked a half block to the parade where we set up some chairs and enjoyed the show. Looks like you had a great 4th. We had fun as well, Matt had to work, but after that we had a great time at the Clearfield fireworks, they are the BEST! Maybe not the best location, but an awesome display!!!We miss ya like crazy!!! Thanks for updating us on your life, we love seeing you guys!
